Nigerian teenage sensation Flourish Sabastine has completed her transfer to French D1 League side Stade Reims from Rivers Angels on a two-year deal.
Sabastine was one of the stars for Nigeria’s U-20 Women’s team, the Falconets, at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The forward played a starring role for the side in the tournament, and now joins teammates Tosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran at the club.
18-year-old forward Sabastine has featured for Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels in the Nigerian Women’s Football League, and has played in the CAF Women’s Champions League, as well. She is a league winner with Bayelsa Queens, as well.
Sabastine will wear the number 22 shirt for her new club and will hope to feature consistently for the side, so as to make the most of her time in France.
