Taiwo Awoniyi Ready For Gent Challenge
Taiwo Awoniyi, is eager face a fresh challenge at his new Belgian club KAA Gent with hard work, just as he is thankful to Royal Excel Mouscron for giving him the right platform last season to impress, Completesportsnigeria.com reports
Awoniyi completed a season-loan deal from English Premier League side, Liverpool to the Belgian side on Monday after spending the last three seasons on loan at FSV Frankfurt in the German second division, NEC Nijmegen in the Dutch second division and Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian Jupilier.
“Thanks for everything @royal_excel_mouscron was anamazing year with you and hopefully will see again this year,”Awoniyi wrote via his handle @awoniyi18 on Instagram onTuesday.

The 20-year-old Awoniyi who represented Nigeria at U-17, U-20 and U-23 levels could make his debut for KAA Gent on Friday when they take on Standard Liege in a league opener.
KAA Gent finished fourth in the Belgian top-flight last term, securing a berth in the final round of Europa League qualification.
