Terem Moffi excited about Super Eagles recall for AFCON
OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi has expressed his delight at being recalled to the Super Eagles squad for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Moffi’s initial exclusion from the final squad raised eyebrows among football fans, but his return comes as a result of an injury to Bayer Leverkusen hitman Victor Boniface.

The left-footed striker`was part of the team’s qualifying campaign, shared his thoughts on the initial snub and recall, saying, “I’m happy to be back in the team.
” Naturally, it was not easy for me to be left out of the team for the tournament initially, but I’m going to give my best to the team.”
Moffi, who plies his trade with OGC Nice, is set to join the Super Eagles in Ivory Coast on Sunday, January 14, 2024 after fulfilling his club duties in a match against Rennes on Saturday.
That means, he will not be available for the teams opening game vs Equatorial Guinea which takes place on his set arrival day.
