Terem Moffi in action as OGC Nice secure 4th straight Ligue One win

Nigeria striker Terem Moffi was in action for 90 minutes for OGC Nice as they defeated Ajaccio 3-0 for their 4th straight Ligue One win.

Moffi joined Nice from Lorient in the January transfer window. The Nigerian striker has played two games since, both ending in wins for OGC Nice.

On Friday, OGC Nice manager Didier Digard named the Nigerian forward in the starting XI for Ajaccio’s visit to the Allianz Riveira.

Despite not scoring, Moffi impressed enough to stay on for the entire duration of the match.

Brazilian veteran Dante scored the opening goal of the game of a cross from Badredine to fire Nice in front 1-0.

Substitute Billal Brahimi came off the bench to double the lead with a curling shot from the edge of the box in the 70th minute.

The Algerian sealed the win with another outrageous strike into the far corner deep into stoppage time at the Allianz Riveira.

It finished 3-0 in favour of OGC Nice.

Nice have now secured maximum points vs Lille, Lens, Olympique Marseille and Ajaccio to rise to seventh on the standings.

The club has now taken 16 points from a possible 18 since Didier Digard replaced Lucien Favre as coach last month.
