Nigerian attacker Alex Iwobi was involved in what has been tagged by many as ugly and rude when he came on in Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Rennes in the Europa League round 16-second leg game played at Emirate Stadium on Thursday.
Alex Iwobi whose introduction in the 70th minute helped Arsenal contain Rennes when they looked to be getting their rhythm and dangerous, had a clash with Hamari Traore in the 93rd
Alex Iwobi was seen covering his nose after having a conversation with the defender during the intense final minutes.
Iwobi’s reaction showed that he was mocking the Malian for having a smelly breath.
His action has generated conversation on social media as many felt he went too far while few others were on his side.
