The list of the top 10 most valuable clubs in Europe was revealed following recent business by the clubs, and Manchester City unsurprisingly emerged on top of the list, closely followed by Chelsea and Paris St. Germain.
With the 2021 summer transfer window nearing its conclusion, a list of the top 10 most valuable European clubs was drawn by Transfermarkt based on the business conducted by the club in recent months as well as their successes on and off the pitch. It did not come as much of a surprise to see that the list was dominated by English Premier League sides, with all of Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool appearing among the top 5 most valuable sides in Europe. Here is the list in full;
1. Manchester City: The English Premier League champions are currently valued at €1.06 billion. Their matchday squad for the Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur was worth well over a billion dollars following their summer acquisition of English midfielder Jack Grealish for £100 million.
