Top scorer Paul Onuachu scores again to help Genk win at Anderlecht

14 goals in his last 9 games

Belgian Pro-league top scorer Paul Onuachu was on target again as he powered Genk to a 2-0 away win against Anderlecht in a league game on Sunday.

The Super Eagles striker who will be looking to play a part when Nigeria and Portugal play in a friendly game on Thursday scored a great goal at Lotto Park.

Daniel Munoz provided the assist as Paul Onuachu scored his 13th league goal of the season.

Paul Onuachu who started the season very slow, going 427 minutes without a goal has now scored a total of 14 goals in his last nine games including a cup game.

Fullback Gerardo Arteaga scored the second goal in the 53rd minute, and 21 minutes after scoring the goal he was giving his marching orders.

Forcing a nervy ending and making Genk play the last 16 minutes one player less, but they hung on to the 2-0 lead and picked all the points on the road.

Genk remained top of the log with 46 points, 10 more points than the second-place Union St. Gilloise

Paul Onuachu also remained top with 13 goals, closely followed by Leuven Spanish striker Mario Gonzalez who has 11 goals.
