Tornadoes, and Pillars set up Aiteo Cup final clash after wins against Rivers, Calabar Rovers

Kano Pillars and their Northern rivals Niger Tornadoes will battle for the bragging rights of the 2019 Aiteo Cup title.

After securing wins in their games both teams will now play in the final.

Niger Tornadoes who recently appointed Abubakar Bala as their head coach recorded a 2-1 victory against Rivers United while Kano Pillars defeated Calabar Rovers 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the regulation time.

Enugu Rangers are the holders of the AITEO Cup, the flying Antelopes came from three goals down to defeat Kano Pillars in last year’s final at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State.
