Torunarigha named in Super Eagles Starting XI for Mozambique clash

German-born defender Jordan Torunarigha has been named in the Super Eagles of Nigeria starting XI for the Friendly game vs Mozambique.

Jose Peseiro first invited the Gent defender for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game vs Sao Tome and Principe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo In September.

The Super Eagles spanked Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 in that match, but Torunarigha who previously represented Germany at Youth level was not handed his International bow for Nigeria.

For the International Friendly game, Coach Jose Peseiro has named his starting XI and there is space for young defender to follow in his father’s footsteps by playing for Nigeria.
