Tottenham Hotspur Beat Coventry City 3-1 to Secure First Win of the Season

Tottenham Hotspur secured their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City, producing a strong second-half performance to claim all three points.

James Maddison opened the scoring in the 14th minute to give Spurs an early advantage. However, Coventry responded after the break, with Rudoni finding the net in the 49th minute to bring the score level and put pressure on the home side.

Tottenham regained control in the 58th minute when Marmoush restored their lead, giving Spurs the advantage they needed to push for victory. Coventry struggled to find another equaliser as the game progressed, and Ben Davies sealed the result with a goal in the 90th+6 minute.

The victory marks an important result for Tottenham as they look to build momentum and establish consistency early in the campaign. After dropping points in their opening fixtures, securing their first three points will provide a welcome boost to the squad.

For Coventry City, the defeat will be disappointing after they fought back to level the match, only to concede twice more. Tottenham will now look to carry this winning momentum into their next fixture.
