U-17 FWWC: Wins for Japan, China, Spain, Day two wrap
Four matches were played on Day two of the ongoing India 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
DAY TWO RESULTS
Japan were 4-0 victors over Tanzania to complete a sorry start to the competition for all three African nations. Canada and France played out a 1-1 draw, the first stalemate of the India 2022 tournament.
Mexico fell to a 1-2 loss to China while defending champions Spain claimed a 1-0 win over Colombia to kickoff their title defence on a positive note.
GOAL FESTIVAL
At least one goal has been scored in each game of the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup yet.
A total of 16 goals were scored on the opening day while Day two produced 10 goals.
