UECL top scorer Cyriel Dessers faces Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the final

As Kelechi Iheanacho, Ademola Lookman and Wilfred Ndidi fall in the semis

Cyriel Dessers will now face Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the Europa Conference League final after leading Feyenoord to an aggregate 3-2 win against Olympique Marseille on Thursday.

The goalless draw at Stade Orange Velodrome on Thursday meant the 3-2 first-leg win was enough to take Feyenoord to the final at Arena Kombetare Stadium in Tirana, Albania.

Thanks to the brace scored by Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers in the first leg, Dutch club, Feyenoord will be playing in the final of the maiden Europa Conference League.

Tammy Abraham scored his 9th goal of the campaign to help Roma to a 1-0 win at Stade Olimpico on Thursday for a 2-1 aggregate win against Leicester City.

Ademola Lookman started the game and was subbed off for Kelechi Iheanacho at the start of the second half but The Foxes failed to find the back of the net as Roma secured a final spot.

It was Roma’s first European club competition final since 1990/1991.

While Jose Mourinho eyes history on the 25th of May as he could become the first-ever manager to win the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.

Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers also will be out to make history as he could become Europa Conference League’s first-ever top scorer.

Going into the final, Dessers has 10 goals while Roma’s striker Tammy Abraham also has 9 goals and both will be playing in the final game.
