Uchenna Kanu scored a great goal as Nigeria were beaten 2-1 in a friendly game against USA in Washington DC.
The Super Falcons and the Americans were playing in the second friendly game after a 4-0 outcome in the first game.
USA took a 4-0 win against Nigeria in the first friendly but with a better display in the second friendly, Super Falcons only lost by 2-1.
An own goal from U20 captain Tosin Demenhin gave the American the 1-0 lead in the first half but Uchenna Kanu equalised for Nigeria few minutes after coming in in the second half.

Uchenna Kanu’s goal for Nigeria was the first scored by a CAF team against the USA since the 2000 Olympics when they defeated Nigeria 7-1.
The goal also ended USA’s 880 minutes without conceding a goal.
USA eventually got the winning goal in the 66 minutes through Rose Lavelle.
Nigeria gave a good account of themselves but were beaten 2-1 in the end in a keenly contested game.
