Valentine Ozornwafor joins Galatasaray from Enyimba for a fee of €300k

Turkish Champions Galatasaray have announced the signing Valentine Ozornwafor from Nigerian Champions Enyimba FC

The Lions have made the promising Nigerian youth their first signing of the upcoming transfer window.

The Super Lig leaders will pay €300,000 for the 19-year-old’s transfer with whom they will ink a five-year contract.

The promising central defender has been capped 5 times for the Nigeria Under-20s and 1 time for the Nigeria Under-23s. While he is yet to earn his first cap for the senior national team, he has been called up before.

Galatasaray plan to include the youngster in their pre-season summer training camp and to loan him out in order to gain regular, first-team experience.

Ozornwafor will earn 575,000 euros (approximately N232.8 million) over the duration of his four-year contract with Galatasaray.

For the first season, the center back will pocket €100,000, and €125,000, €150,000 and €200,000 in his second, third and fourth season respectively.
