Vardy grabs headlines for scoring winner at Sheffield and reacting in pidgin to Iheanacho’s post
Leicester City hero Jamie Vardy has grabbed the headlines on and off the pitch on Sunday for his heroics.
The English striker scored a late winner for Leicester City against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in their Premier League clash.
Wilfred Ndidi was introduced in the second half to play his first Premier League game for the Foxes since his injury back in September.
A delighted Kelechi Iheanacho who also played a part in the 2-1 win asked his compatriot a question about a team picture.
‘Great fight boys, well deserved three points. At Wilfred Ndidi what are you looking at,’ asked Kelechi Iheanacho.
And Wilfred responded in pidgin explaining that he was looking at the corner flag broken by Jamie Vardy while celebrating his late winner.
‘Corner Flag wey Vardy break, lol,’ replied Wilfred Ndidi.
Then Jamie Vardy replied the thread telling the duo he wasn’t the one who broke the corner flag in pidgin.
‘No be me do am,’ replies the English man who said three years ago that revealed learning pidgin English was a difficult.
