Victor Boniface rated better striker than club’s top scorer after hitting brace in Bodo/Glimt win

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has been labelled a better striker than his club’s top scorer Junker Kasper.

Victor Boniface was hailed after scoring two great goals in Bodo/Glimt 6-0 win against IK Starts in Norwegian top flight game on Saturday.

The 19-year-old scored his side’s first and the last goal as the demolished Adeleke Akinyemi’s IK Start to consolidate the position at the top of the log.

It was just his second full start in the last ten games and he fully rewarded his manager’s trust in him with two beautiful games.

The goals make it three goals in his last two games but five goals in total for the season.

In fact, Victor Boniface has started in just three of his sides fifteen league games and he has scored a goal everytime he started a game.

This has led to the comment by a Norwagean League expert Ben Well saying Victor Boniface is a better player than Junker Kasper who has scored 13 league goals for Bodo/Glimt this season.

“Not even that Junker is a bad player, he’s top class, but Boniface’s potential is so much higher.

“A striker you’ll see at a very high level in the future.”
