Victor Boniface returns to training after Injury layoff

Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, has resumed training after spending the last two-months on the treatment table due to injury  sustained on international duty in January 2024.

Victor Boniface sustained the injury while with the Super Eagles camp ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, subsequently ruling him out of the tournament and requiring surgery for correction.

After completing his rehabilitation, Boniface resumed training on Saturday morning and is expected to fully join the team’s training sessions next week.
