Victor Boniface: We will need fans support Vs Lesotho

Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Victor Boniface says the team will need the support from fans when they face Lesotho in a 2026 World Cup qualifier on Thursday.

The match will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo by 5pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Ahead of the game, Bayer Leverkusen forward in a chat on NFF TV said he is ready and focused for the game. He ended his talk with a come-cheer-us message for the fans.

” I’m ready and focus, we are determined so tomorrow we will see what happens,” he said on NFF TV after the team’s final training session on Wednesday.

“Training has been really good, we’ve done two trainings in a short time and every player is focus on the game.

“I will try to do my best, give 100 per cent and also try to win the game. We can’t wait to see our fans at the stadium because we need their support.“

The Godswill Akpabio International Stadium was full to capacity when Victor Boniface marked his debut for the Eagles with an assist in the 6-0 win against São Tomé and Principe.

The in-form striker who now has 3-caps will want same atmosphere for the game vs Lesotho.

Unlike the Sao Tome game whch was free to fans, tickets for the match will sell for 1000, 2000 and 5000 respectively for popular stand, VIP and VVIP seats.
