Former Enyimba International FC striker Victor Mboama has joined Katsina United FC ahead of the NNL Super 8 playoffs, SportsRation reports.
The 26-year old last played for Uzbekistan first division club FC Quizilcum following his move from Algerian club MC Algiers in January 2023.
Mboama was spotted amongst Katsina United FC players at the Uyo Township Stadium on Thursday June 29 as they continue preparations for the Nigeria National League Promotion playoffs.
Katsina United FC is eyeing Promotion back to the Nigeria Premier League when they participate at the playoffs scheduled to take place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba next week.
Striker Victor Mboama is expected to bolster Coach Usman Abdullah’s attacking options, his experience and quality a plus to their promotion ambitions.
Also spotted in the Katsina United FC fold were Azeez Olamilekan and Bolakin Sarkin who join from Akwa United FC and Rivers United FC respectively.
Katsina United FC alongside Kano Pillars FC, EFCC FC and DMD FC will battle for two Premier League spots from the Northern Conference when the playoffs get underway in Asaba.
