Victor Moses fails to inspire Fener against league leaders Basaksehir

Victor Moses was on the pitch for the entire duration but failed to inspire Fenerbahce against Turkish league leaders Istanbul Basaksehir at Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium on Saturday.

Former Manchester City and Madrid attacker Robinho put the league leaders in front in the 19th minute for the only goal of the first 45 minute of action.

Fenerbahce draw parity in the 73rd minute when former Tottenham and Valencia striker Roberto Soldado powered home his effort.

But the Basaksehir soon regain their lead in the 83rd minute when Stefano Napoleoni scored from a good delivery from Marcio Mossoro.

Victor Moses and his teammates rallied to snatch a point against the league leaders but failed as their survival push suffer new low.

Win put Basaksehir into 57 points from 25 games 9 points more than 2nd place Galatasaray who will play on Sunday.

For Fenerbahce defeat means they are just 2 points above relegation zone, a win for Goztepe against Kasimpasa in their game tomorrow will push Fenerbahce into relegation zone.
