Victor Moses involved in six-goal thriller as Fenerbahce continue survival push

Reitred Super Eagles attacker Victor Moses was in action as Fenerbahce came back from 3-0 down to play a 3-3 draw against Besiktas at the Vodafone Park in a Turkish Super Lig game on Monday.

After two disappointing results last week where Fener played a home 1-1 draw against Konyaspor in a league game and a 3-1 away loss to Zenit Petersburg outcomes that put them in relegation zone and sent them out of Europa League.

Fener needed a response in their league game against Besiktas and they rallied in the last 45 minutes of the game to save their faces.

Victor Moses started again just as he did in the Europa League loss to Zenit Petersburg on Thursday, but it was the hosts who raced into three goals lead.

Gokhan Gonul, Burak Yilmaz and another Burak Yilmaz goal in the 10th, 18th and 45th minutes respectively meant Fenerbahce trailed by three goals by the end of the first 45 minutes.

Just at the restart of second half, Victor Moses was subbed of for Andre Ayew, 10 minutes into the 2nd half, Fener pulled one back through Miha Zajc.

Deficit was further reduced to 1 with a Sadik Ciftpinar strike in the 62nd minute of the game.

The comeback was completed in the 66th minute through Hasan Ali Kaldirim.

Both teams sought for the winning goal but it never came as Fenerbache came from 3 goals down to snatch a draw against Besiktas at the Vodafone Park on Monday.

The one point gained pushed Fenerbahce just one point above relegation with 25 points.
