Victor Osimhen agrees personal terms with new club
Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has agreed to personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), but negotiations with Napoli are still ongoing.
According to Italy’s Tuttosport, Osimhen is ready to join PSG and has already reached an agreement with the French club. The 25-year-old striker is set to sign a five-year contract worth €14 million per season.
Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, was in Paris earlier this week to finalize the personal terms. However, PSG and Napoli have yet to agree on the transfer fee. Napoli, under the guidance of new coach Antonio Conte, are open to selling the Nigerian forward but are holding out for his €130 million release clause.
Reports suggest that PSG might offer €100 million plus one of their players to complete the deal. Meanwhile, Conte has identified Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku as the ideal replacement for Osimhen at the Stadio Maradona.
