Victor Osimhen branded the most important Napoli player in Italy

.....he is untouchable at the moment

Victor Osimhen has been branded untouchable and the most important Napoli player as they continue their push for a first Scudetto in many years.

The Super Eagles striker scored two goals in Napoli’s last game, the 2-1 win at Verona.

The Napoli squad that played at the Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium had a few changes from the usual with some of the regulars including the captain were dropped.

Luciano Spalletti who wasn’t impressed with his side’s performance against AC Milan dropped captain Lorenzo Insigne, and Piotr Zielinski for the Verona game to send a message to the team.

In fact, the Italian during his post-match conference said Piotr Zielinski who has been a regular in the team until last Sunday has to prove he deserves to be picked.

“Zielinski has to be a Zielinski, train even more vigorously if he doesn’t play a match,” said Spalletti.

“But it’s normal for someone not to play a match in a squad like Napoli’s.”

In all of the dropping of players, one player who stayed in the lineup and would be crucial for Napoli in the remaining games in Victor Osimhen.

According to a publication Tuttonapoli, the Nigerian is immovable, untouchable ahead of Napoli’s Serie A game against Udinese.

The publication suggests that there could be changes in the attack and midfield which might see the return of captain Lorenzo Insigne and Piotr Zielinski but Victor Osimhen will remain in the team.

Victor Osimhen was described as the real driver of the team and with average minutes/goals like the greatest in the league.
