Victor Wembanyama Leads Spurs to 130-103 Win Over Kings

Victor Wembanyama delivered another impressive performance as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Sacramento Kings 130-103 on Tuesday night, October 27.
The French star finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds, recording a double-double while matching his career-high with nine dunks.
San Antonio also received a strong contribution from Julian Champagnie, who scored 26 points and knocked down eight three-pointers. Stephon Castle added 15 points, five rebounds and five assists as the Spurs secured their second win of the season.
Wembanyama set the tone early, scoring 15 points in the first quarter as San Antonio established control of the game. The Spurs continued to dominate offensively, finishing the first half with 80 points.
Sacramento struggled to contain the home side’s attacking threat and remained winless after four games. Domantas Sabonis led the Kings with 20 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists, while De’Andre Hunter added 24 points.
The Spurs’ performance was particularly encouraging after they had suffered consecutive home defeats to Oklahoma City and Houston earlier in the season.
Wembanyama’s ability to score, rebound and protect the rim continues to make him a central figure in San Antonio’s progress. His performance against Sacramento showed why the Spurs will be a difficult opponent when he is playing at his best.
The victory moved San Antonio to 2-2, while the Kings fell to 0-4.
