Dimitri Payet has scored the best-ever goal in the history of UEFA Europa Conference League history to power Marseille to a 2-1 first-leg win against PAOK FC on Thursday.

The former West Ham United attacking midfielder was in a good form as he contributed to both goals scored by Marseille at Stade Orange Velodrome.

Dimitri Payet assisted the first goal scored by Gerson in the 13th minute of the game before scoring the goal that will go down as the best yet in the history of UEFA Europa Conference League.

The French man scored the goal after controlling a pass he received from the top of the 18-yard from a corner kick.

Omar El Kaddouri pulled one back for PAOK FC as the game ended 2-1 ahead of the second leg clash in Greece.
