VIDEO: Kaoru Mitoma late stunner helps Brighton dump Liverpool out of FA Cup

A late stunner from Kaoru Mitoma has helped Brighton secure a 2-1 comeback win against Liverpool in a FA Cup 4th round game on Sunday.

The 25-year-old forward scored a beauty to help Brighton advance into the 5th round as Liverpool crash out in the 4th round.

Harvey Elliott scored the first goal of the game in the 30th minute but
Lewis Dunk pulled back 9 minutes later.

The defending FA Cup champs, Liverpool were not at their best as they were second best the entire game.

Brighton ball possession eventually paid off as they scored the winning goal late on through Kaoru Mitoma.

The Japanese who cost Brighton £2.5m in August 2021 received a pass, sold a dummy to Joe Gomez and other Liverpool defenders before deftly scoring a beautiful goal.
