Chimezie Metu who started the game from the bench had 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, 11 points from 4-of-8 field goals and 3-of-5 from trey including the buzzer winner in 20min.

Metu who was drafted by the great Gregg Popovich Spurs pick 49 in 2018 said the night was on of his best nights since he turned pro.

“That was probably the best part, all the guys in your ear and everything. Block all that out and let muscle memory take over,” said Metu, who went to the Kings’ practice court after the game to get in extra work.

“It was a great moment. Since I’ve been in the league, for sure one of the best moments I’ve had. For us to grind that one out, it felt good.”
