Umar Sadiq scores twice to help Almeria secure a 2-1 win against Mirandes in their La Liga Smartbank game on Sunday.
The Super Eagles striker continued his hot form by scoring all the goals for La Liga chasing Almeria who now have gone 1 point behind league leaders Eibar.
Umar Sadiq’s goal came in the second half in the 69th and 72nd minutes of the game as Almeria ran out a 2-1 winners at the Estadio Mediterraneo.
His first goal was from his right and the second from his weaker left foot.
With his brace on Sunday, Umar has now scored four goals in his last three games for a total of 12 league goals in 23 league games.
Umar Sadiq is now 5th on the top scorers’ chart behind Cartagena’s Ruben Castro(15), R. Oviedo’s Borja Baston (15), Girona’s Christian Stuani (15), and Eibar’s Stoichkov (14).
Almeria are also just one point behind league leaders Eibar after 26 rounds of games.
