Vincent shines as Hawks defeat Wizards 119-98
The Atlanta Hawks cruised to a 119-98 win over the Washington Wizards, with D’Tigers guard Gabe Vincent playing a key role.
Vincent, who recently moved from the Los Angeles Lakers to Atlanta, delivered one of his strongest performances since the switch. He controlled the tempo, knocked down perimeter shots, and provided steady guard play as the Hawks built their lead.
Also in action was Onyeka Okongwu, who made his presence felt. The big man contributed efficiently on both ends, offering interior defense and rebounding as Atlanta dominated the second half.
For Washington, former Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga stood out despite the loss. Kuminga attacked the rim aggressively and provided scoring bursts, but the Wizards struggled to keep pace with Atlanta’s balanced offense.
The Hawks pulled away after halftime and never looked back, securing a comfortable 21-point victory.
