Even if you have not been following the 2020 EUROs, you would have seen his picture on social media.

On Monday June 28th, Switzerland shocked the world by sending the current world champions and EURO 2020 favourites, France out of the championship.

France who were many book makers favourites raced up to a 3-1 lead and looked assured of a place in the last eight with just 10 minutes to go.

Haris Seferovic pulled one back in the 81st minutes but Switzerland needed one more goal to secure parity for a chance to win the game.

At the 89.26s mark, an unknown Swiss fan appeared on our screens.

He looked dejected as his team who were the better team on the day trailed by a goal with just five minutes including added time left on the clock.

At the time it looked like there was no way back for Swiss but then substitute Mario Gavranovic drew the Rossocrociati level at the 90:59s Mark.

With the scoreline at 3-3 and the game heading for the extra time, the fan whose name was later discovered to be Luca Loutenbach appeared on our screen again.

This time around he had completely lost it, he went from dejection to jocundity – his shirt was off and his cap was nowhere to be found.

In the end Luca Loutenbach Switzerland secured famous victory against highly fancied France via a penalty shootout.

His pictures were used along different quotes on social media on reasons why we love football.

Luca Loutenbach looked like the biggest winner on the day and he has continued to win off the pitch.
