Waregem 2 Club Brugge 5: Danjuma, Dennis on target as Blue-Black go top

Nigerian duo Emmanuel Dennis and Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld were on target as Club Brugge beat Waregem 5-2 at the Regenboogstadion in their Belgian division A matchday 6 clash.

The Blue-Black trashed Waregem away from home to go top temporarily.

An own goal through Florian Tardieu gave the visitors the lead, Kaveh Rezaei conberted from the spot to increase the tally to two.

Nigerian attacker who was deployed as right wing back got Club Brugges’ third in the 37th minutes of the clash. He however didn’t the first half as e replaced after suffering an injury.

Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld scored Brugge’s fourth goal in the 50th minutes of the game.

It was his first goal since he scored twice for Club Brugges in their 3-0 win against Kortrijk.

The home team got one back through Thomas Buffel in the 81st minutes, they reduced the deficit to two when Theo Bongonda scored for the hosts.

Mats Rits finished off with aplomb to ensure the visitors claim a confortable 5-2 away win and maximum points to go top for now.

Club Brugge have won five, drawn one from their six league bames played this season.
