Warriors, Spurs keep rolling at home

The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs extended their home winning streaks in the NBA on Wednesday.

Stephen Curry (33 points) and Klay Thompson (32) were superb as the Warriors brushed past the Los Angeles Clippers 114-98 at Oracle Arena.

That win marked the Warriors’ 51st straight in the regular season at home.

Draymond Green had a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds as the Warriors improved to 64-7.

The Spurs made it 36 straight home wins to start the season with a 112-88 victory over the Miami Heat.

Kawhi Leonard starred with 32 points and eight rebounds as the Spurs closed to within a win of matching the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls for most home wins to start a campaign.

Kevin Love and LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 113-104 win against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Love had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, while James had a game-high 26 points.

The Utah Jazz claimed an important 89-87 win over the Houston Rockets in the chase for the eighth spot in the Western Conference.

Emmanuel Mudiay made an improbable buzzer-beater to see the Denver Nuggets edge the Philadelphia 76ers 104-103.

Kobe Bryant had 17 points in his final game in Phoenix, but the Los Angeles Lakers went down to the Phoenix Suns 119-107.

The Boston Celtics overcame the Toronto Raptors 91-79 and Andre Drummond had another double-double in the Detroit Pistons’ 118-102 win over the Orlando Magic.

Kristaps Porzingis (29 points and 10 rebounds) guided the New York Knicks to a 115-107 victory against the Chicago Bulls, and the Portland Trail Blazers held off the Dallas Mavericks 109-103.

The Atlanta Hawks cruised past the Washington Wizards 122-101, and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Sacramento Kings 113-104.
