Watch as Victor Osimhen joins century club, & enters Napoli’s history book with a superb goal

Victor Osimhen has become the first-ever player in the history of S.S.C Napoli to score in seven consecutive Serie A games after scoring a difficult goal from an incredibly tight corner against Sassuolo on Friday.

The Nigerian striker who matched Gonzalo Higuain’s record of goals in six consecutive Serie A games entered this match starring at the opportunity to stand alone and he achieved it.

Victor Osimhen scored Napoli’s second goal in the 33rd minute to give the league leaders a 2-0 lead going into halftime and putting his name in the history books.

He becomes the first-ever player in the history of Napoli in the three-point era, so since 1994-95, to find the net in seven league games in a row.

The goal was also Victor Osimhen’s career 100th goal joining the company of players who have scored 100 career goals.
