WATCH: Behind the back to hot dog – Brown and Monfils´ brilliant French Open rally

Gael Monfils and Dustin Brown both have a penchant for flamboyant shot-making, and the pair did not disappoint in their first-round French Open match on Tuesday.
Home hope Monfils was leading by a set to love on Court Suzanne Lenglen when he played a part in one of the more spectacular rallies at Roland Garros.
When the Frenchman sent Brown racing back to the corner, the world number 76 slid along the clay and played a sublime cross-court lob behind his back that forced his opponent to backpedal.
Not wanting to be outdone by another showman, Monfils sent a confident shot between his legs that Brown could only volley into the net.
2 showmen sur le court mais un seul vainqueur. Et il s’appelle @Gael_Monfils !

The German held on to take the game, but was powerless to stop Monfils picking up a 6-4 7-5 6-0 victory in less than 90 minutes.
