WATCH: Christian Eriksen scores with first touch against the Netherlands on Denmark’s return
Nine months after suffering a cardiac arrest at the Euros
Christian Eriksen scored with his first touch after coming on for Denmark in their 4-2 friendly loss to the Netherlands on Saturday.
The Brentford midfielder scored in the 47th minutes of the game two minutes after coming at the start of the second half.
Steven Bergwijn scored a brace, Memphis Depay from the spot-kick and Nathan Ake scored the goals for the Netherlands while Jannik Vestergaard and Christian Eriksen scored for Denmark.
Great goal
It was Christian Eriksen’s 37th goal in 110 appearances for Denmark and one in nine-month since suffering a cardiac arrest in Euro 2020.
