Watch how Durant’s miss and Tatum’s Layup At Buzzer hands the Celtics Game 1 Victory Over Nets

Ime Udoka became the first Nigerian to win a playoff game as a coach

Jason Tatum’s incredible layup handed the Boston Celtics a 115-114 win in the game one of the Eastern Conference playoffs final against the Brooklyn Nets.

The much-anticipated clash between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets lived up to its billing as it was settled with the last play of the game.

With the shot clock on 17.5 secs and the Nets leading by a point 114-113, Kevin Durant had the chance to win the game with his jumper but had missed.

And Celtics won the game with the same possession after Jaylen Brown dribbled toward the middle and swung the ball out to Marcus Smart, who fired it into a cutting Tatum, who spun around and dropped in his layup at the buzzer.

Jason Tatum scored 16 of his 31 points in the second half, Brown added 23 points. Al Horford had 20 points and 15 rebounds, and Smart finished with 20 points, including four 3-pointers.

Kyrie Irving finished with 39 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter. Durant added 23 points but shot just 9 of 24.

Former D’Tigers player Ime Udoka also entered the history book becoming the first-ever ex D’Tiger player to win a playoff game as a coach.
