We are disappointed with our loss to FCIU- Sikiru Alimi 

Sunshine Striker, Sikiru Alimi has expressed his disappointment at his team’s 3-1 defeat in Nnewi to FC Ifeanyi Ubah. 
Alimi’s early goal wasn’t enough for Sunshine Stars as FCIU completed a 3-1 comeback. 

Speaking to the Media after the game Alimi said his wonder strike counted for nothing following the loss.

 “It’s quite unfortunate we didn’t get the result we wanted. The goal is of no important with the result. We will go back to the drawing board to try win next game.”

With the loss, Sunshine Stars dropped to 17th on the log with 17 points from 16 matches and will host Wikki Tourists next Sunday in one of match day 17 pairings.
