‘ We will win medals for Nigeria Arm Wrestling skipper promises ahead of African games
The Captain of Nigeria’s mens Arm Wrestling team, Samuel Isamah has assured Nigerians of medals at the 13th Africa Games to be held in Ghana from March 8, 2024.
Samuel Isamah who is a 75kg left and right Arm Wrestler told ACLSPORTS that he believed the Nigerian team is well prepared and ready for the competition ahead.
According to the skipper, Arm Wrestling has witnessed significant changes since Samuel Jackson took charge of the Federation.
Isamah said, “We are expecting the best from the men’s team and eight gold from the women’s team by the special Grace of God.
“Everything is going well this period because Arm Wrestler then was not recognised but through the help of the President of the Nigeria Arm Wrestling Federation, Samuel Jackson everything is going well and we pray for the best.”
Isamah emphasized the importance of Nigerians maintaining hope in the team as they battle for honours in Ghana.
He said, “There are high hopes for us from Nigerians, they have faith in us that we would bring back the gold medal for them.”
