What NBA history did Yuki Kawamura make with Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Japanese guard Yuki Kawamura to a two-way contract ahead of the NBA season. This move came after the Grizzlies promoted Scotty Pippen Jr. to a standard contract following Derrick Rose’s retirement.

Kawamura made his NBA debut on Friday against the Houston Rockets, playing three minutes in the Grizzlies’ 128-108 loss. The following night, he made his home debut at FedExForum against the Orlando Magic, receiving a loud ovation from the crowd.
