Babaganaru pointed to two main issues affecting the club’s performance: poor goal-scoring and injuries.

“We keep working hard on our attacking play, but we haven’t been able to get it right so far. I’m not happy with the number of goals we’re scoring,” Babaganaru said.

He also highlighted the impact of injuries, with many players sidelined, especially strikers. “Most of our strikers are injured, and that’s why we’re still struggling to score,” he added.

With these challenges, Akwa United has been unable to put together consistent results, leaving them fighting for improvement as the season progresses.
