Nigeria international midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has poured cold water on rumours linking him with a move away from the 2015-16 Premier League champions Leicester City.
The 20-year-old midfielder who was named the Foxes young player of the year is said to be considered as a potential summer signing for top European clubs but the Nigerian claims he is happy at Leicester City for now.
Wilfred Ndidi who is with the Super Eagles set-up as the prepare to tackle the Bafana Bafana of South Africa this weekend assured Leicester City fans he won’t be leaving them while promising to better what he did last season when the 2017-18 begins.
“I was happy to end the season at Leicester City the way we ended it considering how we started the season,” he told the NFF.com.
“I always wanted to play football, it was never a question of moving to a big club or playing around superstars but playing football regularly.
“For now I am with Leicester City and the fans should expect more from me next season.”
