Wilfred Ndidi named best player in Leicester City away win against Newcastle United

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi put up an outstanding performance to claim the Man of the match award for Leicester City in the 3-2 win against Newcastle United on Saturday.

Ndidi, 20, assisted Riyad Mahrez in the build of Leicester City’s first goal which was an equaliser in the first half.

David Gray put Leicester City ahead in the 60th minute but Gayle leveled for the rooms in the 73rd. An own goal by Perez ensured Leicester City grabbed their consecutive win for the first time this season.

Ndidi has been a major force in the Leicester City squad, since moving there in the summer of 2017.

Leicester City are currently placed 8th in the PL under new manager Claude Puel, who replaced Craig Shakespeare.
