Wilfried Zaha Breaks Palace Goalscoring Record

Wilfried Zaha’s goal against Watford on match day 3 has made him Crystal Palace’s all-time highest goalscorer in the English Premier League.

The Cote d’Ivoire international scored Palace’s consolatory in their 2-1 loss to Watford and now has 24 English top-flight goals for the club.

In the Eagles’ season-opening win over Fulham, the 25-year-old got one of the two winning goals to equal Armstrong’s tally of 23 strikes, set 23 years ago [1995].
Zaha, a talisman for the club, extended his contract this summer to stay with the club.
