Expect an exciting tournament free of bias – Walter Imoedemhe ACCC Tournament Director

Africa Cup for Club Champions tournament director Walter Imoedemhe has promised Hockey enthusiast the best hockey competition in this year’s championship to be held in Kenya this January.

The Nigerian who is an experienced technical director having officiated in 2014 FIH challenge 1 in Johannesburg, served as tournament director in Junior Nations Cup in Johannesburg, in Ghana ACCC and recently at National Hockey League one championship in Nigeria told sportlineng.com that everyone will witness an exciting tournament free of bias.

“I can guarantee that the tournament will be free of bias, very fair and exciting. We are expecting nine male teams and ten female teams.

“Nigeria, Egypt, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania will be represented at the tournament.”

Nigeria will be represented at the competition which will be starting in January 7th and ending on 15th of January by Niger Flickers who are the 2016 Super League champions in male category and El Rufai Babes of Kaduna, Heartland Flickers of Imo who are the Super League champions and runners up in female category.
