Report: Luis Enrique wants Roma’s Miralem Pjanic at Barcelona

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is reportedly desperate to bring Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic to the club in this summer’s transfer window.

Pjanic has been linked with a move to England and Germany in recent weeks, although earlier this month,Roma denied that they had received an offer that met the midfielder’s buy-out clause of £30m.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Pjanic has emerged as Barcelona’s leading transfer target and the Spanish champions want to complete a deal before Euro 2016 kicks off.

The 26-year-old, who is contracted to Roma until the summer of 2018, scored 12 times in 41 appearances for his Italian club during the 2015-16 campaign.
