2023 NBA Finals: Gabe Vincent powers Heat to Game 2 win

Miami Heat end Nuggets unbeaten run

Gabe Vincent led the scoring for the Miami Heat as they defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the 2023 NBA Finals, handing them their first home defeat of the playoffs.

The Nuggets were on a 9-0 run at home this Playoffs, including their Game 1 win over the Heat, before the second game of the series.

The Nuggets ended the first half with a lead before extending their dominance in the third quarter. A fourth quarter comeback saw the Heat take back the game before Jamal Murray missed a potential tying shot for the Nuggets in the final second of the fourth quarter as the Heat ended up with a 111-108 win to claim Game 2.

D’Tigers star Vincent led the scoring for the Heat with 23 points, with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo contributing 21 points apiece in the game.

Nikola Jokic ended the game with a double-double of 41 points and 11 rebounds, and Murray scored 18 points and ten assists for the Nuggets in their home loss.

The 2023 NBA Finals will continue in Miami with Game 3 set to tip off on Thursday.
