African players have made indelible marks in the history of European cup champions/Champions League.

Nigeria’s Daniel Amokachi is the first player to score in the champions league, Ghana’s Abedi Pele Ayew was the first African to win the champions league. Cameroon’s Samuel Eto Fils is one of the few players to have scored in two champions league finals.
