Adeniji scores a brace as Super Eagles beat University of Pretoria FC 3-0 in Test match

Tunde Adeniji scored twice as Super Eagles ‘B’ defeated University of Pretoria 3-0 in a test game on Tuesday morning as part of their preparations for the 2016 CHAN in Rwanda.

“It was a beautiful game and the third goal by Adeniji was great as it was from a beautiful combination play,” reported an official, who watched the game.

Adeniji opened scoring from the penalty spot, before midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew fired a cracker of a goal from the top of the box.

Sunshine Stars striker Adeniji then completed his brace with a beautifully worked team goal.

The Eagles will face fellow CHAN-bound Angola at the Tuks University Stadium in Pretoria on Wednesday in another warm-up game.

They also tackle another CHAN-bound team Cote d’Ivoire on January 11, before they depart for Rwanda on January 15.
