Godswill Akpabio United FC is set to be officially unveiled today, marking a major milestone for the newly established club as they prepare to compete in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The club, owned by Nigeria’s Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has already signaled its ambitious intentions for promotion to the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) with the recruitment of a blend of experienced players and young talents hungry for success.

The unveiling event, which is by invitation only, will see the formal presentation of the team, the new coaching staff, players, management officials, and other personnel. Leading the coaching team is former Nigerian international and seasoned coach Patrick Udoh, who has been tasked with guiding the team to greater heights in the NNL.

The launch of Godswill Akpabio United FC has already made a significant impact. The team has created numerous employment opportunities, not just for on-field players, but also for off-field staff, including administrators, medical personnel, and media professionals, and support staff.
