Rabiu Ali, Sanusi Ibrahim join race for Eunisell Boot with 8th goal

The race for the prestigious Eunisell Boot and the big cash that goes with it has stepped up after Kano Pillars experienced campaigner Rabiu Ali and Sanusi Ibrahim from Nasarawa United scored their eighth goal of the season.
They thus joined Tasiu Lawal of Katsina United on eight goals each, while Akwa United skipper Mfon Udoh remains the leading scorer in the NPFL with 10 goals.
Philip Auta (Yobe Desert Stars) and Abba Umar (Wikki Tourists) have scored seven goals apiece with a round of matches to the end of the regular season.
Mfon Udoh and Rabiu Ali are expected to have more say in the goals race as their respective clubs have already booked their places in the championship playoffs.
The NPFL Goal King will besides carting away the well-crafted Eunisell Boot prize also pocket cash as each goal attracts a 200,000 Naira bonus.
